Science and Math Tutor!

As a supplemental instruction leader, I created and lectured curriculum based lesson plans three hours a week to college students. I would teach anywhere from one student to multiple students. I tutored students in various levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I provided assistance with test-taking strategies and study skills for college mathematics courses. A Little Bit About Me...

While attending Claflin University in the pursuit of obtaining duel BA's in the field of journalism and sociology, my off times was spent in the middle schools of Orangeburg, SC for nearly six years. I spent 4-5 hours in the classroom (daily) as an assistant and tutor/mentor in language arts classes grades 6-8. I graduated with an M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina in May of 2010. Directly after graduating, I began a career as an Academic Advisor in the Moore School of Business Undergraduate Division at the University of South Carolina. I currently still hold this job.
