While I earned my bachelor's degree in communication from Loyola, I also worked as an Academic coach for high school students. I spent a year tutoring students for an academic competition that tested all skill areas including, writing, math, history and science. The decision was based on the observation that a majority of teachers are over worked and don't have the time to provide the individual attention some students require.
