I have tutored many friends and family throughout highschool and college and my teaching methods have spoke for themselves. I like to teach at that learners pace and let them start what they are good at and develop their knowledge from there. I am very active in answering questions and like to be a visual teacher since I am a visual person. I like to take a step by step approach to math and accounting because that is the easiest way to learn. With accounting one of the best approaches I find is to do examples that interest the student. I will often create on the spot examples in order to intrigue the student. I have worked in several college and vocational school departments including teaching, financial aid counseling, registrar, student affairs, career placement, curriculum development, instructor assessments and evaluations, academic advising, and the college selection process. I have also owned and managed a business, served as a management consultant, and a sales and marketing manager.
