Especially those that are from low income families and different cultures. I have volunteered tutoring children after school. Additionally, I have taken several classes about learning styles, teaching styles, and study skills to improve my own academic achievement. I would go over the intoduction of the new topic with my student and go over the steps to answering the questions and repeating them until it clicks. I would like to start with the most simple question and work my way up to the more complicatde questions. As and questions or concerns pop up along the way I would address them so that there is no confusion of how each step in solving the problem is chosen.
I am a college graduate of University of West Florida’s college of Building Construction and Engineering Technology. I have taken calculus 1 through 3, statics, dynamics, strength of materials, thermodynamics and many other math involved courses. I am not a complicated person and like to keep things basic and easy.
