A Little Bit About Me...

This really depends on the subject, however, I like to do drills to keep basic skills sharp, and to learn new skills. Each student is different, and will need slightly adjusted methodology. I'm also very open to suggestion.
I am a few years out of high school, and I've taken several college classes. My AP knowledge spans almost every subject. I can help with almost all high school level classes and below. The various sciences are probably my best subjects, however my knowledge of Biology is fairly limited. I have tutored a few High School Freshman before in a program called "Senior Mentoring" I have also helped out a few family friends to get the grade to graduate.

Tutoring my fellow classmates was an integral part of my college experience. At Yuba College, I tutored math and chemistry in the College Success Center for two school years. I was in demand, as even fellow tutors would seek my help. I was also requested by my physics professor to tutor physics in the Hard Math Cafe on campus. While at UCI, where I graduated Cum Laude with a mathematics degree, I would often help fellow students, even during the professor's office hours when the professor was busy with another student. I have worked with kids for nearly 10 years as an instructional soccer coach. I have also worked as a substitute teacher for the past three years at the K-12 level. Currently, I am enrolled in the Teachers' Credentialing Program at CSUS and taught 8th-grade Science last semester at Sylvan Middle School in Citrus Heights. I will be teaching freshman Science next semester at Casa Roble Fundamental High School in Orangevale.
