My comments on tutoring Reading : I am passionate about reading just as I am with Creative Writing and proper pronunciation perhaps because I believe reading allows a person to become fully aware of the word, the root and the origin of the word and how to use the word correctly. I am a constant reader.

My first job right after turning 16 was working as a photographer and journalist for the local newspaper in my hometown. My main job was working with the teen section; GeneratioNext asking questions, taking polls, and writing articles that were teen related to teen issues, college and continuing education, and career goals. My comments on tutoring Reading : As a promoter of reading (whether it be fiction or non-fiction), I enjoy being in the position to help students with reading. In my experience of helping students with reading, it has been invariably fulfilling during those moments when a student improves their pronunciation or learns a new words! I can base a lesson plan on the student's peculiar needs. For instance, if I see that the student struggles with five-letter words, I can create a list of five words and develop a technique to help them improve their reading. I will use a metronome to help me check the student's improvement. If you have any questions, please, ask!

My approach is one that is peculiar to each of my students. As an auto-didactic learner, I believe that everyone has their own way of learning. Therefore, I use an approach that I feel works well for each of my students, with regard to whether a student thinks abstractly or concretely, for example. Taught to every age! I was in Europe for 9 years and opened my own American English School. Taught every level from pre-school to Engineers. Also translated and wrote policies and procedures for the European Union REACH program. Taught 3d and 4th grade in Germany. One example: taught English to German elemantary students using the game of baseball to learn new words. My oldest student was 79 years young! The youngest was 4.
