I developed my passion for teaching others from a a pre-college program I was in called Upward Bound. I learned study skills, time management and other skills that helped me excel in college. Although my experience as a teacher appears brief, I feel I have the knowledge in my subject to help students learn and enjoy science. Adjuvant to demonstration, motivation and enthusiasm to learn the material must be taught. All the homework in the world cannot replace this! Regrettably, students often struggle due to poor instruction or vague textbooks which erode a student’s motivation. Fortunately this can be overcome with a little outside assistance.
