In 2006 I was at my final step of reaching my BA in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English with only having left to complete my student teaching, but was taken by another opportunity. I moved to Japan and teach ESL and ESOL for almost 3 complete years. As someone who felt in my youth that if I could only pay attention I could learn anything has taught me how to break down the barriers to focus and how it can shape a students success in any discipline.
