I have over ten years' experience in all facets of accounting, audit and taxation. I have always been an exceptional mathematics student and my chosen field has enabled me to remain very strong in this area.
I spent one year tutoring accounting students who had difficulty grasping the basic concepts of accounting. I was able to explain the accounting concepts in different wording than the text books and I also created a "cheat" sheet to help them understand how to handle different accounting transactions. Ay my most recent job, I worked in a dept called 'PLAYLAND" where I was responsible for taking care and keeping the children of our customers entertained and busy as their parent's shopped for groceries. My Bachelor of Science in Biology degree was earned at Pennsylvania State University, and I accumulated 124 credit hours with some education courses. I have business professional skills in sales, administrative assisting, certified medical assisting, and customer service acquired through work experience and corporate training and seminars. Since I love working and teaching with all children, I have found many of my out-of-the classroom responsibilities to be just as rewarding as teaching in the classroom. I have been invovled with Math tutoring programs at the middle school level, homework help times before and after-school, and one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.
