As mentioned in my earlier description, I have eighteen years experience as an educator. I have taught students of all ages from early childhood through college and non-traditional adult education. I believe that every child has a different manner of obtaining and learning information and it is the instructor's duty to identify each student's learning style and to teach accordingly. Think of a key ring with all sorts of different keys on the ring. As a teacher you must try one key on the key chain at a time. Sometimes the first key will open the door to a child's success and other times it could be the fifth or seventh key. A Little Bit About Me...

After receiving my teaching degree in May 2004 I was a substitute teacher in Washington State for 6 months. Then I spent the next 27 (Jan. 2005- Apr. 2007)months working as a Teacher Collaborator in the United States Peace Corps. Upon successful completion of the Peace Corps I moved to London, England and taught 6th grade from 2007-2010. During that time I did 1-1 tutoring with 10 children for a total of 100 hours. Tutoring was primarily in Math.
