A Little Bit About Me...

Because I have been teaching since the 1970s, I have extensive experience in several teaching styles and have a creative sensibility. I prefer to assess the student before making a determination as to the choice of learning strategies. I work well in a one-on-one approach.
I am a retired college English professor who taught several college transfer courses at the community college level. I also worked as a tutor for several years at the college. I hold a master's degree in Creative Writing and English Literature. My undergraduate degree is in Speech Correction. Currently, I am writing screenplays and making short films.

I have found a great place in teaching, especially tutoring, due to my desire to help other people. I enjoy walking students through new information and giving them a firm understanding of the concepts and facts. I believe that there is nothing outside of a students grasp.
