I have had the wonderful pleasure of teaching children for quite some time. Just as I do, each child learns in their own way. I work to find examples from my own educational experiences that will show them that I empathize with their need as well as to help that light bulb go on for them. It is wonderfully fulfilling to see that happen. I believe that students learn best by doing. I am a very hands on teacher. I like when my students are out of their seats and making discoveries through experiments and exploration. I also am a firm believer in the multiple intelligences. I believe that when these intelligences are incorporated in to teaching, that each student then has an equal opportunity to learn.

I then taught in a pull-out RSP program in 4th and 5th grade ,1/2 time and a high school push-out RSP program the rest of the day. I have also taught 3rd grade.
