I've been tutoring since high schools in a wide range of subjects, such as latin, algebra II, and biology. The skills you use to teach yourself the material can be directly applied to someone else, especially when you find something does not click at first. I have a number of mnemonics for helping my tutees retain the material they've spent time learning. In college I don't tutor professionally because of time constraints, but I help other students understand problems they may be having difficulty with. I've also had my own SAT tutor and seen different programs and their styles, and I've chosen the one that I find the most effective.

An artist breaks down a drawing into its basic shapes, and is able to create what may at first seem like a complex object to draw. Explaining mathematical principles is almost as difficult as learning them, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
