My comments on tutoring Literature : Qualified in this subject by WyzAnt. As an avid reader of classic and modern literature, I am well versed in both American and European literature. At one time I obtained a bookmark from Barnes and Noble Bookstore which listed the 100 most admired works of literature. I had read 86 of those listed.

In my teaching, I make every effort to engage the attention of my students. My teaching style focuses on modeled and guided discussions so that students can talk through their understanding so I can remediate and reteach to ensure that they are learning and they find confidence in their learning.

My experience is more hands-on and personal, I suppose. I love history and write constantly, in addition to having a great interest in photography and television. I majored in American Studies which focused on history and culture in the US, and minored in Creative Writing and Digital Arts. It is a dream of mine to help others learn, as I think college and knowledge is an incredible and necessary aspect that people need.

15 years experience in a broad variety of subjects!

I have a way of perceiving the difficulty the student has, and am able to explain the material in a simple way that makes it easy for students to grasp. I have a good rapport with my student and have had several that have told me that I am the best teacher they have ever had(which didn't hurt my ego!!)
