My teaching strategy generally involves creating a foundation of basic principles and then building until a thorough understanding of the subject has been attained. I try to tailor my approach to the needs, goals, and learning style of the student. I typically explain each concept using a combination of textbooks, lecturing, and visual aids. A Little Bit About Me...

I have become very adept at determining what level each student is at and tailoring my teaching style to suit the students that I am working with. In a class of over 20, I was able to reach each student with modified lessons and assignments. In the case of individual tutoring, I move at a rate that challenges the student while giving them ample opportunities to feel successful. I enjoy encouraging students to work to their best ability and am excellent at finding ways to motivate students who are stuck, bored, or find the topic too challenging.
