I have a gift for working with students who struggle. I know where they are going to trip up and I am prepared to answer the questions that they do not even know they will have! I know at least 3 or 4 different ways to explain different concepts so if your student does not understand one way, I have another way. I have taught and tutored at my church and in other volunteer programs since high school. I also currently give drum lessons at a Stephen's Music Company.
I always find myself trying to lead others to figure out material on their own as a I set guidelines for them as they do so. I believe this is the best way for them to learn the material.
