Love Learning with Mrs. Karr!

This might be my first year teaching, but that does not take away from my passion or excitement for teaching! I love kids, I most of all love seeing that “ah ha” moment on their faces! This is my first year as a 3rd grade teacher. Previously I was a substitute teacher and taught all grades. I was also a teacher through a summer program locally; Here I taught students how to work, how to save money and then helped them get their first job. No matter the task, I love watching kids succeed with confidence!
I get EXCITED about teaching! I love to implement all different resources to help all different types of learners to fully understand the concept. Being able to move around, hear, write and see the information will allow kiddos to soak up all that information!

Elementary Grammar is one of my top subjects!

Hello, I have had a lot of education over the past few years. I graduated with my High School Diploma in 2009, my General Education Diploma in 2011, my Forensic Science Career Diploma in 2012, my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2012. I also have been on the Dean's and President's list of the colleges I attended. In the past, I have worked at daycare centers and with Head Start programs as well. I am eager to help tutor elementary-aged children with their homework needs online.

I am working on a master's degree in communication.

I am currently a substitute teacher at Mountain Grove Schools. My practicum was completed at Mountain Grove Elementary. Subjects taught include math, science, reading and social studies.
