I begin by observing the person. In which areas are they confident and strong? In which areas are they fearful and using avoidance? I then find a bridge from their place of confidence to their place of fear and coax them across until they are happily skipping across. I also tutor adults for GTCC who are trying to upgrade their math skills to pass the NC CRC test. I taught pre-k for 3 years with Guilford Child Development.
