Public Relations is one of my top subjects! I love teaching this. I've helped people master skills in Adobe InDesign in just a few sessions.

I recently graduated with a double major in theatre and public relations. I've been doing both for 5 years. In theatre I have been both on and backstage for numerous productions as well as assisted three Acting I classes throughout my college career. I've directed, stage managed, acted, designed, built, and teched over 20 shows in total. In public relations, I've written press releases, news articles, made media press kits, interned at a non-profit organization where I created marketing materials with InDesign and Photoshop.
With acting or theatre, I like learning my subjects style of learning and going from there. It's very easy to coach someone through an acting exercise once you know the way that they learn the best. In Public relations, it is a bit harder to figure out the best way to teach each person, because it is a more straightforward, fact based art.

There is not one teaching style that works for everyone. Making the subjects fun and exciting is a great way to get the students engaged. I have learned that no two students learn quite the same and I try to find what motivates them and work in that area. At Eustis High School, many could read, but not comprehend so I worked one on one, sentence by sentence so student could learn to comprehend as well as read the words.
25 plus years as a Business Executive. 4 year instructor at Lake Technical Center and 2 years working with students needing to pass the FCAT at Eustis High School. Many of my Lake Tech students were of the at risk category, so I had to learn how to speak their language(so to speak).

I dont have a lot of experience with teaching children in a classroom environment, but I have a 5 year old, that I have to constantly teach different things besides what he learns at school.I have experience training physicians in a complex electronic medical records environment.
