My Motto: With each concept I did not know, there’s always a journey. Even if I don't know something, I will strive to learn it. This motto has proven to be very invaluable… even early on throughout high school as I received a full academic scholarship to a well respected and prestigious university. As a graduate at Transylvania University, I understand the struggles that school life presents. I like to ask questions and get the student involved. I like to get the student engaged as much as possible. I would like to observe the method in which the student obtains the most information and expound on that variable, triggering many senses for better memorization. My teaching style would consist of trying to get the student to understand what they are studying which is considerably better than just simple short term memorization.
I earned a well rounded education from Western Kentucky University with a strong emphasis in math / Engineering. Since College I have pursued the Surveying field. I have recently obtained the status of Professional Land Surveyor with the State of Kentucky. I have taught young graduates surveying practices in relation to the Engineering field while in management positions. I would be very excited about teaching children.
