I believe the best way for students to learn is by doing and discovering the material hands on as oppose to being lectured to. I like to instruct demonstrate the learning material to my students intially, but after that i prefer to have my students try the material themselves so they can see and understand what aspects of the material they dont understand. I feel it is important for students to learn not only what the answer is to a given question, but also understand the concepts and reasoning behind the answer. With this in mind, my teaching style usually walks a student through a concept thoroughly, utilizing problems to guide understanding. I find it beneficial to first gain an perceptive of where the student is at, walk them through the concept, and discuss problems step-by-step until a solution is reached.
