I love teaching. I earned my BA before I was old enough to vote. While my classmates were in his/her senior year, I was teaching. Eventually I earned my M.Ed. in Reading, then started School Administration and Adult Education. A Little Bit About Me...

I especially enjoy working with students who want to learn, and I truly love math. I know that math concepts are especially difficult for many students to grasp. I feel confident in my approach to assist students in meeting and exceeding their goals. I am a patient, caring person, anxious to make a difference in the lives of my students.
For the past eight years I have worked in a mentor/tutor capacity with focus on mathematics, physics and astronomy. This experience has included college level, high school and middle school students. I enjoy seeing my "students" succeed. I will be graduating in May with a BS in Physics, a BS in Astronomy and a minor in mathematics. During this time spent at Webster University I was hired by the Student Literacy Corps, a non-profit organization funded by the university for the purpose of educating students in the St. Louis Public School District in English and writing. In addition to experience in the classroom in developing and implementing lesson plans and developing interpersonal skills with children of many ages, I also studied subjects such as calculus, astrophysics, South African history, and music theory. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always wanted to teach Math and Science. I have volunteered tutored on and off for five years for friends and family. I have a BS in Chemistry and have worked as a Chemist for 13 years. I currently am working as an accountant. I enjoy formulas and showing my students how everything comes togeher.
