Since undergraduate work, I have worked in the business world, primarily in the manufacturing arena. My academic experiences have continued on some level. In times past I tutored high school math students in North Carolina. I am proficient is equations, inequalities, Cartesian Coordinate System, polynomials, factoring and functions.
My style focuses on the processes in arriving at a solution. The learning goal in mathematics is to impart understanding of the process of working toward a solution, not attaining the solution. In mathematics as many other endeavors, it is how we proceed to a goal that is important, not the goal itself. The achievement at the end is the result of making the correct choices during the journey to the end.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been out of college, working in the IT industry for about 8 years now. While in college, I tutored fellow students in the school's lab in the subjects of English and Mathematics. Within my current position, I train users on a daily basis on various software applications and basic PC utilization/troubleshooting.
I have always been excited to help others succeed. I have a young daughter myself, so I am very interested in early childhood development. I fully comprehend that there are many different learning styles and am capable of adapting my teaching methods to meet those of you or your child.
