I have 14 years experience in elementary education, specifically teaching 2nd and 4th grades and kindergarten. I have 15 years experience in higher education administration leading workshops on goal setting and setting priorities, study skills, time management. I also have 10 years experience in private tutoring. I did this part time while teaching. I have tutored students in grades K-8 in all subjects including writing and study skills. I am certified in the state of PA, hold a B.S. in Music Education and have over 40 graduate credits in Elementary and Technology Education. My most recent experience was as apreschool teacher. Despite the fact that the children were all the same age, whatever developmental or cognitive delays a child might have, is not being addressed, therefore making the teaching environment, very stressful. Prior to the preschool classes, I taught as a substitute in the school district where I attended college. To this day, I am involved in my newphews schoolwork, and help him to write book reports and research papers. That is my specialty area. I have scored perfectly in the grammar section of my college writing exam and also have experience editing works for private papers.
