My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. My teaching style is aimed toward getting the student to master the skill for the long term. It is my belief that a lot of teaching is to the state tests; students do not retain skills when that is done, and the concepts for reading and writing, have to be retaught.
