I believe in basic teaching with practice,and feedback. The differeniation of individual learning styles is always taken into consideration. My goal is to help each child reach his or her potential. The best way to do this, is to first identify the child's learning style. When this is defined, projects should be tailored to fit that style. I prefer to use a hands-on approach to any subject and present each idea being studied in numerous ways.

I have taught in the private sector for 6 years and public schools for one year. I have been tutoring for the past 15 years. All of this is has been grades 1-8. I am currently tutoring some students with learning disabilities grades 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. I feel most rewarded in working with students on an individual basis, so I no longer teach full-time.
