A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that teaching styles need to be flexible to the student. I have worked with a very wide variety of students, from the severely limited autistic youth to the highly gifted medical student. While approach and focus might vary for the individual or subject matter the essence remains the same. I try to envision at least 3 different ways of approaching a problem, I discuss material but let the students ask questions which I then tailor my explanations toward. Everyone sees a problem slightly differently and if you allow yourself an open mind and creative thinking often you can help them break through a difficult problem because you are able to see it their way.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a student at Western Michigan University I was able to achieve a 3.6 Grade point average. With a BS in Exercise Science I am currently on my way to Northwestern in September to study Physical Therapy. As a graduate of the Gwen Frostic School of Art at Western Michigan University, I was given the opportunity to create art in a recently built, state of the art facility. I started college straight out of High School in 2005 and completed my degree in just over four years. I was awarded the Art Star award for the painting program, I also received a scholarship from the school for the advancement of photography and painting. A Little Bit About Me...

I've always had a passion to teach. Life took me down a few different paths but I've managed to find my way back to teaching.
