I have tutored both English as a second language and Spanish for five years to high school, middle school and college level students. I also have experience working with children with mental disabilities. I hold a bachelor degree of Arts and Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in English, Spanish and sociology from the University of Missouri. I am quite fond of children and their amazing desire and ability to learn. I think that education is one of the most important aspect of a child's upbringing and any contribution that I can make would be very gratifying. I think children differ in their learning styles and I am flexible to work with children who are visual learners through diagrams, colors and charts, or with children who are learn through memorization and application.
