English ESOL is one of my top subjects!

I taught English as a second language to adults in Fes, Morocco for two years and taught kindergarten through high school in Seoul, Korea for 10 years. As a private tutor, I have worked with business and academic professionals in the following areas: accent reduction, grammar, writing, and conversation. I have also worked with numerous elementary, middle, and high school students to improve their English skills. I ran an English immersion program for Korean kindergarten students which followed an American first-grade reading/writing curriculum.
I have high expectations of my adult students, but am understanding of the limited time most have. Therefore, I try to maximize class time and try to be flexible with scheduling. During my enrollment at the University of Arizona in Tucson, I tutored several students in advanced psychology courses as well as advanced English composition courses to undergraduates. I graduated from the University of Arizona with honors--a member of Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology and a memmber of Golden Key National Honor Society. After graduation, I tutored a high school student in geometry. Lately, I have been tutoring a fifth-grade student in math and reading.
I believe that applications to everyday life should be stressed if a tutor/teacher is to pique the interest of their student(s). A Little Bit About Me...

I was a member of the AT&T Regional Education Center staff where my primary responsibilities included development/delivery of custom technology presentations and delivery of required sales certification courses. I was a member of team that developed comprehensive call center curriculum offered as a fee-based product by AT&T Call Center Consulting. This included courses specific to associate, supervisor and manger in the areas of customer service, inside sales and account management. These courses were later adopted as accredited course offers by Purdue University. I have served the last 5 years as an ESL tutor for Literacy Green Bay.
