I bring advanced college degrees, 20 years of real-world experience, and a deep insight into the barriers of culture, race, and language. I have a Bachelors degree(Chemical Engr.) and Masters (Chemical Engr. with Environmental Engr thesis). I passionately pursued a consulting career in environmental engineering for over 20 years serving federal clients. I honed excellent technical writing and public speaking skills. Specifically, I needed to convey complex issues to a wide audience in simple words. I taught math and science to my niece and her friends all the way through their high school years.
In physics, chemistry, and mathematics, I believe it is very important that the student must learn the fundamental principles and concepts for long-term retention and application. More About This Tutor...

I like to teach using examples, either on a board to show a person step by step first. Then try to give the student examples to try to solve themselves. If this does not work I continue to breakdown a problem until we can clearly identify where the student is having trouble.
I have helped tutor friends’ kids on math from little school to high school. I have taken math all the way up to Differential equations and feel alright tutoring up to calculus one. I do not possess documented experience from schools or other organizations. I am a very highly motivated individual that does not mind helping others. I also have experience in teaching or helping coach little league sports educating kids on how to play games correctly. I have also been an assistant coach and helped out at Clinton Community College with girl’s softball under the head coach.
