My teaching style is best described as modern Socratic method. Questioning to elicit critical thinking is the essence of education. Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! I took a creative writing class for two years in high school. I feel that I have a very creative mind and I have good writing composition. I received an A in the class both years.

I am now a sophomore at Germanna Community College. I have taken Algebra, Biology, English, Contemporary Mathematics, and various psychology courses. I am continuing to take more math and science classes. As a high school student I took Algebra I and II, Biology, Duel Enrollment English, and various other courses. I have received high grades in the classes I have mentioned. I feel that the college courses are my strongest points, but high school English and Algebra are strong points for me as well. I have tutored various friends, mostly in Algebra. I have a college GPA of 3.8 and I am in an honor society. I feel that I could help many struggling students with various courses with my experience in these subjects.

All Things Writing!!!

Writing & Public Speaking are my niche. As a tutor, I have helped students at all academic levels (K-12, and beginner undergrad) I've recently discovered a joy for helping others learn and am currently a substitute teacher in Henrico County Public Schools. My current students are primarily at elementary, middle school and high school levels. Throughout my sessions I teach and emphasize the mechanics of writing. A Little Bit About Me...

I really enjoy teaching children and young adult. I take the time out to learn each individuals capabilities and I approach my teaching techniques differently. Having been devoted to the welfare of children and families and valuing education highly throughout my life, I find tutoring a satisfying occupation. After vounteering my services for many years, I attained formal degrees in education, psychology, and counseling, with very high GPAs.
