The bachelors degree I received in English Literature and Spanish allowed me to spend two years serving as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador. There, I became fluent in Spanish and decided to return to the United States to pursue degrees in both Elementary Education and teaching English as a Second Language.
