During my final year as an undergrad, I did a multimedia timeline project on the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, which included ten newspaper article translations from Japanese to English that were included in the project. After graduating High School early (Jan 2001) I did two semester at the University of Akron majoring in Political Science. After the events of 9/11 I enlisted in the US Navy (Jan 2002). I was trained at the prestigious Defense Language Institute (DLI) in Monterey CA, with follow up training in Texas. I then spent the next years working as an Arabic linguist and Intelligence Analyst at a Joint Service Operation. I specialized in Iraqi and Syrian Dialects.
