I like to be presented with the material at hand and evaluate what the child/student knows before I dive in. After this initial assessment, I take more of an interactive approach. I constantly offer feedback and guide the student in reaching the correct answers without just giving them away. Spanish is one of my top subjects! I have four years' experience in learning Spanish. I took Spanish for two years in High School and one year at University.

My comments on tutoring Spanish : conversational, vocabulary

I like to put my students in situations they would face in their travels whether is business or pleasure and teach them how to manage those situations using the spanish they learn with me. There is a lot of conversation and vocabulary clases before we hit the " field"
I was born in Valencia Venezuela, and lived there until I moved to the United States in the 80's I graduated with a Business Administration Degree and I have worked for bank of America teaching/tutoring executives in conversational spanish and vocabulary before schedule trips overseas. I am a native Spanish speaking criminal and civil trial attorney. I do not have extensive tutorial experience but I am very personable and professional. I legally immigrated from Paraguay to the U.S. in 2009, following my marriage to my husband who is a U.S. military servicemember. I hope that by helping others learn Spanish, then I will be able to improve my own grasp of the English language.
I believe that speaking ability should be the primary focus of any language, along with traditional reading and writing skills. So I would decribe my approach as conversation-based. However, I am willing to focus instruction based on the client's desired outcome.

I served four years of active duty in the United State Marine Corps. I have mentor and lead Marines on a daily basis to ensure their safety and well being.
