I graduated from UNCG with a Bachelor of Arts in History and English with a minor in Religious Studies. I am currently in school to receive my Master's in Middle Grades Education concentrating in Social Studies. When I graduate I will be certified to teach both History and English 6th-12th. My strongest teaching abilities with English are in Reading Comprehension. I can relate best with the student/youth.

Very relaxed, easy going, friendly. I feel less pressure and non stressful settings help students learn better. They can relate to a younger person who is more in tune with youth and someone who understands them.
I attended Rufus King World IB High school in Milwaukee, Wi, one of the most prestigious inner city high schools in the country. I excelled in IB Geography, Chorus, and Theatre. I was one of those kids who never did any homework, but passed my tests. Everyone came to me for help on projects, homework, ect. I feel that I didn't fully utilize my strengths in school as I could have, so I would love to share that with those who need it now.

I believe in creativity. As an elementary school art teacher I have lots of experience working with kids. I am also familiar with Greensboro having graduated from Guilford College. I have done school tutoring and some tutoring with younger family memebers who are dyslexic and who have ADHD.
