A Little Bit About Me...

Most of the subjects I have selected I passed with an 85% or better. I also did some tutoring in high school for other students. If I didn't learn it, I am most likely to figure out what is going on. It helps to know before hand what the lesson and subject is, just so I can remember what it is and to be more prepared.
I would prefer the library, just because it is big and open. The library in Tooele is a great example. It has rooms that can be used. I would prefer tutoring no more than 10 students at a time. If I can get a copy of the lesson before hand, I can be prepared.

Give Real life experience a try

Experience throughout school, work and personal experience dealing with the mentally challenged and dyslexia. my best friend had a son who was dyslexic and also he had ADD and I got him to trust me in babysitting and I taught him various things. I taught him how to read and write he could not accomplish that on his own. He was 11 at the time and I think with kids you have to be creative to teach them and I am very creative. I also have an aunt who is mentally handicapped, and I love spending time with her she is a very giving person. They teach me and it is always a joy to work with them and give something back.

I like to get a student to the point where that student can apply basic skills to complete a problem. Once the student can apply those steps, I then like to move onward to get the student to be able to understand the reasoning behind the solution to the problem so that the student can use these steps to solve similar types of problems. With my Associates degree, I spent over 12 years working in the accounting field. I developed many accounting skills and talents for which I was not fully recognized.
