I have extensive experience tutoring middle school through high school age students. I began tutoring groups of students as an exchange student in Austria, in 2012, working with 5th through 10th grade students in English at the BRG Koeflach (the local high school) where I was compensated as an official English tutor. In 2013, I assisted in German II, I would take half of the large class of over 30 high school students and teach the lesson for the day. Learning through culture and language

I teach in a style which combines different tactics and methods in order to engage the students in the subject. In example, when teaching foreign language I make it a point to incorporate the culture of the native people and their customs along with music and art.
Recently graduated, I have taken four years of Spanish. I taught Spanish III and Spanish II last year with classes ranging in size from 31 to 25 as well as having taught French I and French II in the same year. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with children my whole school career from a Kinder Helper in fifth grade, a PAL (Peer Assistant Leader) in high school, and to a synchronized swimming coach today. I find history incredibly interesting and want to help others feel the same way about it. It is a story that needs to be shared. I took AP history classes in high school. I am about to walk the stage at the University of the Incarnate Word holding a B.A in History with honors, also with a minor in Psychology. I design the lesson to the learning preference of the student. I incorporate technology, visual, tactile and kinesthetic teaching styles. This gives the student the maximum opportunity to learn. If a student is having trouble with reading comprehension there are various skill sets a child learns in order to help with standardized tests. I have experience in that area.
