I have worked extensively with children and adults in the study of a variety of different subjects. I am very patient, friendly, and considerate. I am a firm believer that learning should be an enjoyable and fun process that engages the student to think both critically and creatively. I strive to connect with every student on an individual level as I believe that everyone has a different way of learning and that, as a teacher, it is crucial to be flexible and creative in the way you teach. I really enjoy teaching students how to play the bass. It's a thrill when they have that "Aha" moment and what I'm trying to show them simply clicks. Every student I've ever had has had different reasons for coming to me and therefore I approach each individual differently and I try to tailor each lesson to their needs. One thing I do keep in common with all my students is encouraging them to practice and to think for themselves.
