A Little Bit About Me...

My name is Nicole Koerner and I'm a native speaker of Germany. I was born and raised in Germany. I received a B.A in German Studies/ Communication & Culture from Kutztown University,PA in May 2009. During the past few years,I've been tutoring German to children in High School. Some of my honors include the National Dean's List,Honor's List Who's Who Among American High School Students and I belong to the German National Honor Society. I have experience in the German language, since that is the country where I was born. I am very good in the German language, such as writing essays, research papers and grammatical skills.
I love teaching and planning every day activities. I had many field placements and I really liked working with children- especially one- on -one. During my field placements, I've had the opportunity to communicate with children and teachers as well.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a tutor at Eastern University I came to the realization that not all students learned in the same way. I have a different teaching style as compared to the teachers putting things into real life examples, or even making things hands on so my students understand better. The students knew that I wanted them to succeed and would stop whatever I was doing to help them do homework, study, etc. I can relate to the students while still respecting them and encouraging them to shine to their highest potential
I recently graduated from Eastern University as a double major in accounting and finance.My courses in investments, finance, accounting and business have given me a solid base upon which I plan to build my career. During the past four years, I have obtained a BS in Accounting with a Concentration in Fraud Examination and a Minor in Business Management. I have been employed full-time as the Business Manager of a private, not-for-profit Christian school, and as the Business Director of a student newspaper, The Voice.
