Love to Teach

I have always believed in "connecting the dots." Knowledge and learning cannot be strictly confined to subject-area teaching. For example, many academic subjects can be studied while one writes, makes art, to creates stories, practices problem solving, or invents solutions to problems we are facing in this modern age. I believe ever child has his or her own level of learning. That level can be intrapersonal, interpersonal, visual,etc. Every child must be worked with and not looked over. Not every child learns at the same pace. I am a believer in giving every child a chance. We as educators must find out what level of learning the child is on in order to assist the child's learning needs. If we fail to assess those needs, we have failed the child.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked in the Education field for 9 years. I started off as a substitute teacher and later became a "permanent substitute" in 2002. In this same year, I also became a class monitor for Psycho-Edu with the Johnson Co. School System. These jobs both required me to help teach elementary students in every subject.
