I hold a bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Towson University where I interned for two years in both urban and suburban settings. During my college years, I was a biology and history tutor. After graduation, I taught mathematics to children at risk of failing. Currently, I teach reduction reading and mathematics in an inclusive setting.
I believe it is important to find every child's unique learning style and use that tho help them reach their potential. I am patient and willing to approach a subject from multiple angles to ensure success. My college was a constructivist school and I have included this style into my teaching. A Little Bit About Me...

In my current position I am creative, organized, and nurturing. I am a team player and regularly coordinate lessons with faculty in other departments at my grade level. I make class fun and meaningful for my students. I also created a workbook for my students in an effort to revive Latin in the classroom. This book has revolutionized the curriculum and has captured their interest remarkably.
As a 2006 graduate of the University of Maryland, I have both student teaching and full-time teaching experience at the University and 8th grade level. Currently, I am teaching Latin to 8th grade girls at the Bryn Mawr School - an independent K-12 school.
