I graduated from high school in 2011 with special honors and as co-valedictorian. I am now attending the University of Mississippi where I am majoring in accountancy and minoring in business. My passion is writing, so naturally that is what I do best. Every year, I am contacted by numerous students from my high school and also my classmates at Ole Miss about proofreading their papers. I have also worked with helping students study for math classes, including but not limited to pre-algebra and algebra. My best subjects have always been English and math, but I am efficient in all high school level courses with the one exception of science, which has always been my weakness. A Little Bit About Me...

As a Magna Cum Laude graduate,I have always loved knowledge and the beauty of learning. While at the University of Memphis, I tutored at a private school named The Neighborhood School, which provided services to low income families. This experience needed a person with an extensive background due to tutoring was required in all subjects. At the Families First Resource Center, a social service agency, I served a tutor for all grades K-12, any subjects necessary.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love to work with children who are eager to learn. I know that for most children having to study is not their top priority, so I try to make it fun. I love teaching and working with children, I believe all children can learn, but in different ways. Each child should be able to feel like they have academic success, even if it is not the same as other students. I've worked with children in many differnt areas of education and with children on many different levels. My focus was on children with disabilities and speech/language disorders. I've worked with children w/developmental delays and regular education children. I've also served as a tutor to children in my area w/learning disabilities. I have a BS in Speech Pathology w/a minor in Special education and I am currently working on my MS Ed in School Counseling. I will graduate from the Univ of Southern MS in May 2011.
