My teaching style depends on the student. I am comfortable with trying different study methods in order to figure out why my student is having trouble with a particular subject.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I love being able to help students feel comfortable with the material they are studying. My style is dependent on the student. While the end result is having a student understand the material, the way of achieving this varies with each person. Some students require a lot of hand holding while some require a more hands off approach. To achieve understanding I will cater to the students needs.

Biology is one of my top subjects! I hold a Ph.D. in biomedical science - focused on molecular virology.

I took a variety of Biology classes and Labs at WPI mostly focused on Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics. I recently finished my PH.D. where I studied control of viral gene expression. I think that relating a particular subject to a student is the best way to spark their interest and draw them in as learners. Often students do not learn the significance of what they are learning therefore they disconnect themselves from the material. I want to help students care about their education and teach them that any subject can be your best subject when you give it your all.
