I graduated from MIllersville University and spent 34 years teaching high scool classes. During my work on my MA I studied in Passau,W. Gerany,at the Goethe Institut, as part of my MA degree studies. The methods of teaching I was instructed when I obtained my Bachelor in Education at the University of Akron Ohio, from 1989-1991, was the following Integrated, Whole language approach and Montessori. The method we were instructed to use in the Akron city school system was Integrated which uses basic and whole language approach language Arts. These integrated units allow us the opportunity to make sure children are learning relevant information and applying that knowledge to real life scenarios. Language Arts is what I use in all my teachings and lesson plans. My experiences as an educator have been numerous and continuous throughout my life.
