As a graduate of Michigan State University in the area of Civil Engineering, I have a high level of focus in the areas of Math and Science. I am currently studying to obtain Professional Engineering license in the spring. My occupation requires me to use different computer software as well as knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Correspondence between review engineers on projects required proper writing and grammatical skills. Since October of 2009,I have worked part-time for a Metro Detroit tutoring agency. Subjects include Math, Science, English, and ACT test preparation. Patience and flexibility are the keys. You can't explain a concept the same way to each student and expect each one will understand. Some students need extra time to grasp the material so it's important not to progress unless there's certainty of complete comprhension.
