A Little Bit About Me...

Ever since I was a young child, my interest in Mathematics has been profound. Mathematics is much more than a class subject; I have interwoven mathematics as an integral (no pun intended) part of my life since I was a toddler. In High school I was frequently participating in Calculus competitions, at which I received two 1st prize awards and wide recognition. My high school teachers noted my skill in mathematics and invited me to become a math tutor in their department. I now attend Lyndon State College as a double major in Meteorology and Pure Mathematics; after two years, I am proudly the head tutor at the Math Lab. My teaching style can be very academic if required. The style varies according to age, but it is always pursued with fun and engagement. Learning languages is also learning the origin of words and the historical and social background of the people and country studied. I love particularly the contextualization of teaching languages, which cannot prescind from the people who speak that particular language, their history or geography.
I studied European Languages since the age of 14, starting at the Licee (a kind of school that does not exist in this country) with Latin and Ancient Greek.
