As an undergraduate student, I studied English and communication. These two subjects combined groomed me into a proficient writer, communicator, and researcher. Post graduation, I took a year off to work and explore myself and the world. During my conquest, my love of English deepened. This desire for learning and love for English has lead me to pursue a career as an educator. I am now studying to obtain a Master's Degree in English Language Arts. As a graduate of an all girls private school (Peace College) in Raleigh NC, I have become a true leader in the female world. I have always been driven to make a mark in this world by setting by example. I have earned a BA in Communications, specializing in Public Relations and Advertising. Also minoring in Graphic Design, I have become pro efficient in computers and have an advanced expertise in Desktop publishing and basic through advanced computer skills. In earning my bachelors of science degree at the University of South Carolina Aiken, I gained a true love for biology. I excelled in entry-level biology classes, as well as higher-level science classes such as ecology and evolution. I am also proficient in writing, English, and math. During my college career, I have tutored mostly in sciences and math.
I know firsthand that great teachers make great students. It took several years to discover my learning style because I had to find it on my own. I want to be able to help students find their own learning style. I believe that subjects are best learned when broken down, and repetition is key. I also believe practice makes perfect. A Little Bit About Me...

As a Spanish/English graduate from UNCW I began teching Spanish at the Friends school Of Wilmington. I taught there for two years. In addition to Spanish I was a service learning coordinator, tutor, and yoga instructor.I then taught ESL in Columbus County for one year. In Columbus County I served as a translator and testing agent as well. I have tutored in Spanish, English, and math
I love teaching holistically. I belive strongly in differentiation, not everyone learns the same way. I belive in teaching children out themselves so that they can bulid better study habbits in all areas that they study.
