My comments on tutoring MCAT : I only have experience tutoring for the physical foundations section.

Tutoring especially appeals to me because breakthrough moments don’t always occur while class is in session. Every student has a slightly different way of wrapping his or her head around a given concept. By engaging students one-on-one, I can get a feel for their specific situation and how they relate to a given topic, and modify my teaching style and examples to fit their needs.
I received my Bachelor of Science from Western Washington University and my Master of Science from the University of Oregon, both in chemistry. After graduation, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a synthetic chemist before starting a PhD program. As the middle child in the family, I was very competitive among my siblings. I was very much driven to achieve goals that I set for myself. I have earned two bachelor degrees, a BA in Theater Art and a BS in Biology, which have enabled me to gain an understanding in various ways areas of science and math. A Little Bit About Me...

I've been teaching most of my life, first as a rank one student to my classmates and friends and later as a physics and math instructor. I enjoy showing the easy ways to go through complicated looking problems and concepts to my students and I like to witness their academic accomplishments which build the confident to be successful in life as well.
As a mom, I've learned to be patient and easy going. As a teacher, I try to find the best approach for individual students. Some of them need more guided practice and examples, while some benefit from independent work. My pace and level of difficulty in teaching will be determined by the student background and potential and it usually goes from slow/easy to harder/faster.
