I was a senior scientist - engineer for 37 years. I retired to care for my comatose wife at home, and she died a few months later. This situation has left me open to new directions. I've found it's important to find a personal way of learning for a specific student. Variety is important, because every child learns a little differently. I have a hands on teaching style with the ability help you understand how to come to the right answer through logic and reasoning. I believe that memorization is NOT learning, and that teaching WHY an answer is correct is more important than the answer itself.
I have taken the ASVAB twice, once in high school and again right before I enlisted.
