Honor Student hoping to help students achieve success

A Little Bit About Me...

I love to write. As a pastor, professor, and playwright, I have actively been writing for the past ten years. I have written hundreds of sermons, lesson plans, papers and newsletters. I have also written five plays for young adults, one of which was published. I earned a master's degree in Divinity, a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts with a minor in Psychology, and further graduate credit in Communication from Purdue. A Little Bit About Me...

In my senior year of high school, I realized how much I enjoyed teaching and helping others with school work when I co-taught the AP Psychology class at my school with the head psychology teacher. After high school, I went onto college at Purdue University, where I studied psychology and minored in statistics. I have a very wide-ranging course history, including a number of graduate courses. After school, I was recruited to work at a camp, where I had my first experience with such large numbers of adolescents. It was an eye-opening experience to how children learn and interact in everyday life. The camp taught me how to build a respectful relationship between a young person and an advisor.
